1. The NKSL project, which is the first river-linking project in India.
2. This Project was successfully commissioned by MEIL on 27th March, 2014.
3. In view of the project’s scope and top priority to irrigation and drinking water requirements of
Malwa region.
4. The MEIL team completed the project on time through diligent planning and extraordinary
execution skills.
5. The project integrates Narmada River with Kshipra and Simhastha rivers.
6. At the time of the inauguration of the project by the state CM, lakhs of locals arrived at the site
to witness the holy confluence of these rivers.
7. The NKSL project provides water to lakhs of people in numerous towns and villages in Malwa
region of Madhya Pradesh.
